What will happen if I don't want to carry on with the study?
You can choose to stop completing the survey at any time. Once survey questions have been answered or the survey has been completed, information given will remain in the study. Due to the anonymous nature of the survey, it is not possible to go back and remove answers.
You can also choose to stop taking part in the interview at any time during the interview. Once information has been analysed it cannot be removed from the study.
How will my information be kept confidential?
No personal identifiable information will be reported in the publication of this study. Personal information, such as names and emails collected for the purpose of communication will be stored on an encrypted laptop in a password protected file. At the end of the study, these records will be destroyed.
What will happen to the results of this study?
The results of the study will be reported within a Master’s Dissertation for submission at The University of West England. It is also intended that they are shared at scientific conferences and submitted for publication through a peer reviewed journal.
Key findings will also be shared with those supporting the study including participants and commissioners of SRH services.
Who is organising and funding this study?
This research is being led by Louise Sweeney, Public Health Speciality Registrar. The study has received no external funding and is being completed as part of a Masters in Public Health at the University of West England.
Who has reviewed this study?
This study is being conducted under the supervision of Professor David Evans at the University of West England. Ethical approval has been granted by the delegated Faculty ethics committee representative.
